BELLEvue + DAYTON, KY
East of Newport, Bellevue, Kentucky, is known for its wide variety of locally-owned shops that have been around for decades. Since 1870, Bellevue has stayed true to its history with unique architecture and family-owned shops. One can find high-end salons, a variety of restaurants, and sweet shops all along the main strip, Fairfield Avenue. Quaint residential areas are on either side of the main street.
Travel further east, and you'll reach Dayton, Kentucky, a similar municipality along the Ohio River. Dayton is smaller in size and recognition compared to Bellevue, but the up-and-coming foodie scene has increased in popularity over the past couple years.
